Véronique Courtois Takes Over LVMH's Beauty Division
The long-serving LVMH executive will lead the group's entire beauty division in future – while remaining at the helm of Parfums Christian Dior.

The beauty division of French luxury group LVMH is under new leadership: Véronique Courtois becomes Chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior as well as CEO of the group's beauty division. She thereby also joins LVMH's Executive Committee. She retains the leadership of Parfums Christian Dior in a dual role.
In her new position, Courtois is responsible for the activities of around sixteen brands. These are organised under the umbrella structures Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, LVMH Fragrance Brands and Kendo. Courtois succeeds Stéphane Rinderknech at the head of the division.
A group veteran takes charge
Courtois is among the most experienced executives in the house. She joined LVMH around a quarter of a century ago and shaped, among other things, the development of the heritage house Guerlain. She began her career at Beauté Prestige International; later she worked for several years for the Japanese Shiseido group before moving to LVMH.
The change is accompanied by a further appointment: long-serving LVMH executive Philippe Farnier takes up the newly created role of Deputy CEO with immediate effect and reports to Courtois. The industry reads the dual role as a sign of the weight the fragrance and beauty business now carries in the group's portfolio.
