Paris Perfume Week 2026: Niche Perfumery Moves Into the Palais Brongniart
The third edition of the Paris niche perfume fair drew almost 11,800 visitors to the Palais Brongniart – with a strong focus on Chinese brands.

In a short time, the Paris Perfume Week has established itself as a fixed date for fine and independent perfumery. Organised by the specialist publisher Nez, the fair's third edition took place from 9 to 11 April 2026 – for the first time in the Palais Brongniart, the former Paris stock exchange building. The monumental building offered considerably more space than the previous location and underlined the event's growing ambition.
Over the three days of the fair, the organisers counted around 11,780 visitors. Hundreds of niche perfumers presented themselves on the exhibition floor, complemented by a dense programme of talks and encounters between creatives and the trade audience.
Chinese brands in focus
A dedicated area of the fair was devoted to ten Chinese brands. In doing so, the Paris Perfume Week placed the increasing internationalisation of niche perfumery centre stage and showed that creative impulses have long since ceased to come solely from the classic European fragrance centres.
The fair was accompanied by an extensive fringe programme: around 80 events spread across the whole city turned the Paris Perfume Week into a cultural occasion reaching far beyond the Palais Brongniart. What began three years ago as an experiment is now regarded as one of the most important stages for independent perfumery – and attracts a strikingly young audience.
