Amouage Expands the Essences Line With Three New Eau de Parfums

The Omani perfume house Amouage expanded its premium Essences line at the beginning of 2026 with three new fragrances. Line 618, Remain and Sequence together form a trilogy that interprets the theme of time through three geometric symbols: the straight line, the point and the circle. The fragrances were available in the boutiques in Oman and in the official online shop from 5 January 2026; international distribution through retail partners began on 15 January 2026.

All three Eau de Parfums follow an elaborate production process. The concentration is 30 per cent pure perfume oil, which is stored for six months together with high-quality, aged sandalwood chips from Australia. In parallel, the alcohol used matures over the same period in French oak barrels. Only then are the oil concentrate and the alcohol base brought together into the finished composition.

Sequence: movement as an olfactory theme

Sequence was composed by the perfumer Julien Rasquinet and represents the transition from the moment into continuous movement. The pyramid lists raspberry, lychee and saffron as top notes, a heart of tonka bean, rose and osmanthus, and a base of leather, oud and amberwood. The sister fragrances Line 618 and Remain complete the concept – Remain as an olfactory depiction of the still moment, Line 618 as an approach to the mathematical constant that gives it its name.

With the second Essences trilogy, Amouage underlines its positioning in the uppermost segment of niche perfumery. The combination of an extra-long maturation period, high oil concentration and conceptual coherence across three fragrances is aimed at collectors and connoisseurs, for whom Amouage has traditionally been one of the defining houses.
